Do not place these products in the dishwasher.  

Wash with only soap and hot water.  Wood is very absorbant, so refrain from using other chemicals that maybe soaked into the wood. 

Do not allow these boards to sit any any amont of water for extended periods of time (i.e. in the sink or wet towel).  Again, wood is absorbant and as it aborbs water it will warp or twist.  This irrepairable.  

Upon taking your board home it is finished and ready to use.  However, as the board is used you will need to apply a food grade mineral oil or butcher block conditioner (both commonly available at home center or hardware store) on a routine basis to help keep it looking new.  The more the board is used the more you will need to apply your finish.  If you use the board daily you will need to apply more frequently than if you used it only once a month or only during the holidays.
