Indiana Fine Woodworking is a veteran-owned custom furniture and cabinetry business based in Fishers, Indiana. We design, build, and install heirloom-quality hardwood pieces for homeowners throughout Indianapolis, Carmel, Noblesville, Westfield, Geist, Zionsville, Greenwood, and Central Indiana. Every piece is handcrafted by one person — Eric, a U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Infantry veteran who brings military precision to every project.

That simple request from my wife eight years ago launched Indiana Fine Woodworking. She's Filipina — which means she has a lot of shoes — and I confidently replied, "I can make that." I had no formal training, no professional experience. Just determination and a willingness to learn.
That first cabinet still sits in our home today. It's a daily reminder of where this journey began — and proof that furniture built right doesn't need replacing.
I'm Eric. Before I was a woodworker, I served as an infantry soldier with the 82nd Airborne Division, then spent years working as a nurse. Custom woodworking is my third career, and it's where military discipline, creative problem-solving, and genuine craftsmanship finally came together.
What started as one cabinet for one woman with a lot of shoes has grown into a full-time custom furniture and cabinetry business. Today I build custom dining tables, kitchen cabinetry, epoxy river tables, built-in entertainment centers, closet systems, and handmade wooden gifts — all from my workshop in Fishers, Indiana.

Design Consultation We start with a real conversation about your space, your vision, and your needs — whether you're planning a live-edge dining table, custom kitchen cabinetry, a built-in entertainment center, or a closet system. I'll visit your home anywhere in Central Indiana, or we can meet at my Fishers workshop. This isn't a sales call. It's a design conversation, and it's where the best projects begin.
2. Drawings and Design Refinement I create detailed drawings of your piece and we refine every decision together — wood species, dimensions, finish, hardware, joinery. Walnut, oak, maple, cherry — we'll find the right material for your project and your home. You approve everything before a single board gets cut.
3. Handcrafted Construction in My Fishers Workshop Once the design is finalized, I build it by hand in my Indiana workshop. Every joint, every surface, every finish is done to the standard I'd apply to something going into my own home. No rushing. No shortcuts. Heirloom-quality construction from start to finish.
4. Professional Delivery and Installation I deliver and install throughout Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Westfield, and the broader Central Indiana region.
